After Night of Champions she underwent knee surgery to repair the injury she suffered in December 2008.
Following her move to Raw, she was immediately involved in an on screen feud with Mickie James who she eventually dropped the WWE Divas Championship title to on July 26th 2009 at Night of Champions.
Drafted to Monday Night Raw on April 13th 2009 during the annual WWE Draft bringing the Divas Championship with her.
A few days after winning the Divas Championship, suffered a dislocated knee during a WWE House Show (Dec 28th 2008) in a tag team match against the Bella Twins. She returned to television on January 23rd 2009 in a non-wrestling role. Officially returned to in-ring wrestling on February 20th.
The second WWE Diva to become WWE Divas Champion when she defeated Michelle McCool on the 26th of December 2008 in an episode of Smackdown!.
Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked her #9 of the best 50 female singles wrestlers in PWI Female 50 in 2009.
