Personal Quotes
I didn't want to find out the reality that if I wanted my dream, I had to lose weight. That's a crushing dream for anybody... to change yourself to get your dream. Nobody should have to do that.
[about modeling] One of the hardest things is the weight factor issue. I've never heard of a size 0 or a negative human. That's hard. A lot of girls aren't naturally built that way. Also, the lack of having an opinion is the main difficulty. I was always like "How about we try this?" or "Let's do that." I sort of got the look, "Shut up, model. We pay you for your face, not your mind."
[First Love Letter] I got some really cute fan mail from an 11-year-old boy, who told me I'm "prettier than a rainbow," which is, like, the sweetest thing any boy has ever said to me. Maybe when he grows up, he'll be able to read this story - and if he is reading this now and he is 11, then, hey, you shouldn't be reading Maxim!
[First Career Epiphany] I'm pretty sure I became an actress solely because of craft services. When you're a kid and there's a lady walking around with a tray of chocolate and other free candy, that's the best reason to be in the industry! In modeling, though, there's the shittiest craft services you've ever seen; it looks like they're feeding rabbits.

Personal Quotes
"I schooled in Himachal Pradesh. I had taken up science and, initially, wanted to become a doctor. There are few career options for students of science though, so I shifted to Delhi and decided to try theater instead. I joined a group called Ashmita, and did two plays there -- Madhavi and Rakht Kalyan. As I was still unsure of what I wanted to do, I began sending photographs of myself to advertising agencies. I even took up classes in French because I thought of shifting to Paris, where models have always had a chance." (5-4-2006)
"I come from a middle class family, and my parents weren't too supportive of my career choices. My father is a businessman, and my mother is a schoolteacher. They would always discuss my career whenever I'd visit them, but they are now very happy as Gangster is doing well. In fact, Himachal Pradesh is proud of me! I keep getting calls from there. I'm very happy now, but I'm sure that when I'm older, I will miss being a student and not going to college. I should be writing love letters at this age. Instead, I'm working day and night. Then again, you can't get everything in life." (5-4-2006)
My biggest asset is that I know how to learn and that, I believe will help me in the long run.
